The Director of Public Safety and provides leadership for a full-service campus public safety department and has overall responsibility for administering and managing the department’s budget, including short- and long-range strategic planning, personnel administration, employee discipline, policy creation, and implementation, and general oversight of the department.
Under the direction of the Director of Public Safety, the Assistant Director of Public Safety is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of Campus safety and security programs and services, including but not limited to: security, environmental health and safety, fire safety, emergency management, incident reporting and documentation, parking management, and key control.
Under the direction of the Director of Public Safety, the Public Safety Officer is responsible for all security activities involving campus patrol, requests for service, opening/closing of facilities, responding to emergency calls, parking requests, and monitoring, and all other duties as assigned.

The Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies and Online Learning will play an important role in the day-to-day operations of the undergraduate studies programs at Salem College, with particular emphasis on supporting adult students and other lifelong learners through effective online programming and seamless advising processes.
The Associate Registrar has direct responsibilities related to curriculum maintenance, course scheduling, transfer evaluation, graduation eligibility and certification, maintenance of the degree audit, and assists the registrar in overseeing the daily academic and administrative operations of the office.
The Director of Institutional Research supervises all institutional research activities across the Academy and College, which provides information to support institutional planning, policy formulation, and decision making.
The Biology Lab Coordinator teaches Biology labs as directed, prepares, and organizes materials and equipment for Biology labs; dismantles and cleans up lab materials; orders, grows, collects, maintains inventory, and maintains records of supplies, equipment, cultures and specimens; assists in annual budget planning and tracking for the labs; and performs related duties as assigned.
This role organizes office activities and coordinates flow of communications and information for the main departments, provides support by planning, organizing, supervising and participating in the school office administrative operation.
